Summary:
We are a leading semiconductor technology company headquartered in Chengdu, China, expanding into the fast-growing field of building automation and intelligent controls. We are seeking a recent engineering graduate who is passionate about automation, building systems, and innovative control technologies. This role is ideal for someone eager to contribute to a new product line and take part in deploying a next-generation building automation platform within a newly developed commercial building in Chengdu.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Support the development, testing, and launch of a new building automation product line, including lighting control, motorized shades, sensors, and system integration.
? Assist in the deployment and commissioning of building automation and controls systems in a new Chengdu commercial building.
? Work with cross-functional teams—including firmware, software, hardware, and product management—to ensure system stability, performance, and scalability.
? Participate in field testing, system validation, debugging, and integration activities.
? Contribute to the design and implementation of automation control logic, communication interfaces, and system workflows.
? Provide documentation, reporting, and support for product improvements and release cycles.
? Work with the manufacturer of BA system hardware to build the manufacturing capacity of hardware and monitor/guarantee the BA product quality.
? Collaborate in English-based communication environments; English proficiency (ESL) required.
REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Controls, Automation, or related discipline).
? Academic or hands-on experience with building controls and automation systems.
? Familiarity with communication protocols such as BACnet, CANbus, and Modbus.
? Understanding of software coding, scripting, or automation platforms (Python, C, C , embedded systems, or similar).
? Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to work in both lab and field settings.
? Highly motivated, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced technology environment.
? Ability to collaborate with teams across departments and cultures; English as a second language is required.
? Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with LED lighting controls, motorized shade systems, or sensor networks.
2. Exposure to embedded systems development or building-related IoT platforms.
3. Internship or project experience involving building management systems (BMS/BAS).
